Brand Awareness & Best Practices
While working with dk.com we worked on a number of high profile projects. Dk.com had just gone through a major re-design of their website and wanted help maintaining their brand across current projects and instructing their design team with the best practice methods. The above pieces were concept work only, but focus on an alternate design for the DK.com website and a cross brand campaign for the DK range of travel guides in conjunction with the FT.com.

Microsites
As well as create the identity of the Christmas campaign we also had to create this nifty little microsite. Keeping to a simple premise of 100 books (50 for adults and 50 for children) we put together the above pages so that a customer could select from the entire range of books, when selected, would go to the main directory of books stored within the main DK.com website. The microsite consisted of 4 pages including a competition page along with a 'staff picks' page.

Mobile Marketing
Mobile marketing gets a huge boost with the Apple iPhone. Unfortunatly Apple didn't ask us to come up with a design for the iPhone - instead DK.com asked us to come up with a microsite that could be used to highlight their new 'Rough Guide' just in time for the UK iPhone launch. We jumped at the chance of working to a new format and was even given an iPhone to play with (this was before the official UK launch of the iPhone) so that appropriate testing could be carried out. We also got a chance to work alongside the author of the book 'Rough Guide to the iPhone' who was very happy with the final results. The illustrations above show just a few of the many varied design layouts we created specifically aimed at the iPhone users.
